In this course students will learn about the latest findings in Lifestyle Medicine based protocols, the newest research that connects them all and how we can improve our well-being and live longer by eating better, exercising smarter, sleeping deeper and managing stress consciously.

Learning Outcomes

Students will use a selection of cutting-edge text books, assignments and exams to achieve course learning outcomes:

  • Understand the challenges clients are confronted with when trying to improve lifestyle habits.
  • Understand the most researched nutritional models and how they apply for your clients.
  • Educate clients about the difference between high and low carb and other known diets.
  • Understand specific protocols to use food as medicine.
  • Integrate the latest science and which exercise and fitness regimens have proven to improve mitochondria health, energy and longevity.
  • Learn about the importance and science of sleep.
  • Apply evidence-based social connection, love & support strategies helping clients deal with isolation, loneliness and depression.

This course can be accessed by Integrated Master’s degree program students.
